Welcome to Barracudas

Tucked away in the heart of Fish Hoek, Barracudas is where good food, great company and a relaxed coastal atmosphere come together.

From the moment you arrive, we invite you to slow down, settle in and enjoy the experience. Our menu brings together the flavours of the sea with a selection of much-loved local and international dishes, complemented by a carefully chosen glass of wine.

Whether you're here for a relaxed lunch, a special dinner or simply to enjoy a meal with friends and family, Barracudas is a place to gather, indulge and create memories.

A Note From The Owners

Every day, our dishes are made from scratch. This means we use traditional cooking methods, starting with the freshest raw ingredients, no pre-made sauces, no shortcuts.

We pride ourselves in making everything in-house and serving 100% natural meats, sustainable seafood and seasonal produce to ensure the best quality and taste in every dish!

The Menu

All main meals are served with your choice of chips, salad or fragrant rice. We only use fresh fish, so availability isn't always guaranteed — any additions are charged as extra.

Tour Group Bookings

Running a tour through the area? We seat groups regularly and can set a fixed menu, timed service and a dedicated table layout so your group is in and out on schedule.

How it works

  1. Tell us the numbers. Group size, arrival time and any dietary needs.
  2. We propose a menu. Usually a set menu for groups of eight or more, to keep the kitchen moving.
  3. We confirm in writing. Timing, pricing and table layout, at least 48 hours ahead.

Please note: a 10% service charge applies automatically to tables of eight or more.
